Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale is inviting locals to discuss crime prevention in the area.

Meetings will take place with the local community police team in June. The first meeting was on Monday 3 June in the cafe at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, with more planned on Friday 7 June at the Walton Court Center (10am) and Wednesday 12 June at Southcourt Baptist Church (1pm).

Neighborhood community teams work with local people to prevent and reduce crime and disorder. In addition, they improve the conditions in the neighborhood and the feeling of safety.

The team regularly publishes its crime prevention priorities and actions taken. Most recently they have been tackling street drinking in Aylesbury town center and scooters in pedestrian areas.

Residents are welcome to attend the meetings and discuss any concerns.
