SPF that leaves you radiant and protected

It’s Sunscreen Awareness Month, which means another opportunity to remind you that sunscreen is a non-negotiable in your skincare routine. Yes, even on cloudy days and yes, even if you’re only outside for fifteen minutes. In addition to basic sun protection, wearing sunscreen can also help you see faster results from skin problems. It can help reduce hyperpigmentation, fine lines, acne and irritated skin.

As a black woman who also has oily skin, shopping for sunscreen sometimes feels like a tedious task. I need one that won’t make me look too shiny or burn my eyes, and won’t leave a white cast. Depending on your preferences, you might be looking for the same thing or something different. So here are some of my favorites, which work for all different types of skin types and concerns.

And remember, the best sunscreen is the one you wear every day, all year round.

Ultra Violette Supreme Hydrating Facial SPF 50 Screen, $48.50, at Sephora.

Summer Fridays ShadeDrops SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen, $48.50, at Sephora.
